Taxing income and property discourages work and building. We propose a far superior option — shifting taxes to land value. This is central to fixing key drivers of the housing crisis, replacing harmful taxes on workers, builders, and businesses, and bolstering economic productivity.

- Grow the economy and middle class: A national guaranteed income could increase Canada’s GDP $80B/yr, while creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and growing the middle class.
- Streamline government and pay dividends: A guaranteed income floor could cost 3% of all spending, saving taxpayers from the higher costs of poverty. Universal dividends (i.e. via sovereign wealth funds) give every Canadian a share in the nation’s economic progress.
Humanistic Intelligence Lab (Mann Lab)

Drove recruitment, fundraising, marketing, and operations, working closely with hardware and software engineers.
